Eleanor was one of the founding members of the Kenilworth chapter (now renamed Southern Cross).
She owns two “B &B’s” – one in Muizenberg and one in the Southern part of the Drakensberg Mountains, a village called Rhodes. She did not receive one referral for close to a year. Then we had a young man join our chapter who only stayed a short while, before transferring to England (and BNI). His mother came on holiday to Cape Town and stayed at the B&B in Muizenberg!
She had friends who she recommended to Eleanor’s guest house and life was wonderful! Guests were hooked over and many had needs fulfilled by other BNI members.
Eleanor recently had a personal setback and felt it would be wise to go to England for a while – the “now good friend”, the BNI member’s mom, welcomed her with open arms.
Eleanor is working for a while in England with a warm base and is attending BNI meetings promoting her B&B’s, South Africa and BNI South Africa.
Last week she went to Peter Borough while there were 23 members. She took her “landlady” with her, who is thinking of joining the chapter.
